buku merah!

i've started my buku merah today!! ;)

my initial plan is to start the red book yesterday since hubby was on 2 days off. but since we just got back from Trg the previous day ( Monday ) at 12.30 am .. we dont think we can make it to wake up that early to go to the nearest KK. so we went at 2 which is a big no cos the nurse said we can only start our buku merah from 8 until 12.

so .. i have to go today .. alone. ;(

when u want to start your buku merah .. let me advise you .. TAGGED YOUR HUSBAND ALONG! or a friend .. or your sister .. or anyone else as long they can make you company. the process took quite sometimes to end and it took a whole lot of courage to stay until the end of it. ;p

i arrived there at 8.30 and already it was full. so i ask the nurse what should i do and yadda yadda. there was a miscommunication and it ended up i was late for about 15mins to register. dont forget to take a copy of ur nikah slip and both of your husband and your ic and your proove for being a pregnant lady. mine was a scan from private clinic. then i filled in the form and the nurse asked me to go to the next room for a blood test. *shriek

after done the blood test .. i had to do some urine test .. and thank god the result was like in 5 minutes. then .. go to the next room to see the nurse and she will ask you quite a lot of question. this was the part where it kinda getting on my nerve.

when i entered the room .. there are 2 nurses and they were backmouthing about the other nurse for about 5 to 8 mins. and there i was .. sitting with a big question mark on my forehead and i looked like as i was trying to eavesdrop to their conversation. >:( i tried not to bother much btw.

the nurse ask a few things and she said that she's not going to do a scan cos at 13 weeks you cant really see @ hear the heartbeat .. which makes me confused cos from what i've been reading so far we can hear the heartbeat as early as on the 5th week. tapi malas nak argue lebih2. iye kan aje.

then i have to wait for a few minutes before i can finally see the doctor. as usual .. when i entered the room .. the doctors were chit chatting with each other while writing some stuff i dont really know in my red book. if you ask me either the doctor was nice or friendly .. the answer is no. (boo!)

she saw the scan print on my red book so she said to me this "oh. awak dah scan eh sebelum ni? kalau macam tu tak payah la saye scan lagi." which to me seemed like she dont really give a damn about it. i pon dont give a damn gak la cos i want it to end pretty bad since i havent got proper breakfast before i went out.

last station is the pharmacy .. ade 5 jenis ubat yang kene telan everyday. T_T overall, today's journey was not very exciting maybe because i'm alone and all i did while waiting was reading 'Diary of A Wimpy Kid'. yes. it helped a lot.

and another advise .. when you decide to start your buku merah at your nearest KK .. please dont expect it to end in twenty minutes because it won't. i waited for 3 freaking hours before it finally ended. sob. akhirnyaaaaaa!

p/s arahan kementerian that mom2be yang after 25years old .. kene minum air gula to make sure you didnt have diabetic. ooohh! scary!
