Semalam memang hectic!
Semalam bawak Naazhim pegi cucuk for hepatitis since die dah sebulan kan and the doc asked me whether dah pegi follow up for jaundice kat GH ke belom. Sbb last monday I pegi klinik utk check jaundice Naazhim sebab kat mate die ade kuning2 lagi. Tp reading dh turun to 123. Even nurse yang datang rumah pon cakap ni kuning tinggal sket je lagi ni. Tp mom was worried sbb mate Naazhim ✗ elok2 lagi.
After Naazhim got his jab, kitorg pon terus ke GH nak bwt follow up. Pegi kat kecemasan and diorg kate kene admit sebab dah sebulan tp jaundice tak hilang2. I dah start menangis dah time ni.
Sampai kat ward pulak, 2 org trainee doc datang and started to ask a lot of questions. Seriously I ✗ de mood mostly because I was SO worried about Naazhim. Harap2 xde ape2.
Bile dah petang sikit, specialist datang and tengok Naazhim. She said Naazhim looked okay. Berat badan ok, muke ok its just prolonged jaundice. Sepatutnya ✗ payah admit. Orang kat wad kecemasan boleh bagi appoinment je suruh amik darah and everything. Tapi since kitorg dah admit ni, boleh la check semuanya. I felt quite relieved at that time.
And bile dah masuk senja sikit, datang lg sorg specialist (ketua die la kot) check Naazhim. She said the same thing like the previous doc said. What we have to do is to wait for blood test result which is on monday. And plus kene set appoinment untuk next check up mostly sebab nak tahu kenape lambat sangat jaundice ni hilang. Takut ade something wrong with his liver. Harap2 takde lah. I am so worried.
Nasib baik ✗ kene bermalam kt sane. Dlm pukul 9 we finally discharged and now we are waiting for the blood test result (anxiously) :(
Please pray for Naazhim so that nothing bad happen to him. Risau. Risau. Risau. Ade sesape tak yg baby die jaundice lambat hilang? :(

hi aeshly... my baby pon kena prolonged jaundice... or its called breastmilk jaundice (if u fully BF). it is common if the mom blood type O.
i went for her blood test at GH and they did quite thorough test on the blood. i met moms yg baby prolonged jaundice more than 2 months and kena ambil urine etc. i dont think your baby is that bad sbb u can see the kuning reducing. those babies mmg obvious sgt kuning diorg.
i pon mula2 worried so i did my own research (by googling, of coz!) and i just pray for the best. if u fully BF, just continue. some says giving FM will cepatkan kuning hilang coz it will absorb the bilirubin into the poo & pee, but not recommended (sbb FM).
don't worry so much. just pray its just the normal one.
try minum susu kambing....org kata it help reduce the jaundice..

harzharun : pure susu kambing ke? nurse x recommend sbb x sterilize kn. but i did drink higoat. tapi naazhim tak tahan. maybe panas kot .. naik rashes kat muka and leher. sian pulak. huhu
